I doubt many in advertising are surprised but online ad revenue is significantly higher this year than last year.
Highlights of the Report:

• Revenues in the US for first 1/2 of 2006 were  $7.9 billion which is a new high

• 37% increase over the first half of 2005.

• Internet advertising for the 2nd Quarter revenue totaled nearly $4.1billion for the second quarter of 2006,

• 36% increase over 2005 Q2
